Ali Najmi, City Council candidate, joined Queens community members for a prayer vigil to honor those murdered in the Charleston tragedy. Ali joined Reverend Phil Craig and other community leaders in a prayer circle to stand in solidarity for peace and healing. At the event, Ali spoke about the need to bring together all communities to build a better future that ends racial hatred and stops the violence.
